Custom Case Solutions... Part 2

Hey Xian here, these days, I mainly play Warhammer Fantasy and I also have had to contend with alternate solutions on how to carry my army from battlefield to battlefield. After reading Will's excellent article on how he dealt with his 40k armies, I became motivated to add my 2 cents from a fantasy perspective. The problem I find with name-brand army transport cases are the price and Individual foam trays makes it time consuming to rank all my models up before I want to play a game. So what do I use? My answer is the simple and humble metal tool box.

I picked up this tool box at Lowe's hardware store for around $30, but i am betting that a few readers out there have a free old rusty tool box in theirs or a family member's attic that had not been used for years. To keep your models in place you simply have to magnetize all your figure's bases. If you use strong enough magnets your models will sit securely and not slide around.
As you can see I use the top tray to store my rulebooks, dice, tape measure and other gaming accessories. The nice thing about having magnetized miniatures is that if you run out of room on the bottom of the box you can always have them stick to the sides with no problem! Well this is my custom case solution,Thanks for reading and I would love to read any comments or suggestions.
